DAGDA Solutions has created the Small Business Framework (SBF), which allows the rapid development of ad-hoc systems for customers, in any industry or business.
Already, using this framework, various systems have been developed ranging from video shop rental system to property management.
Migration tools can also be developed in order to help migrate existing data across to the new system, to ensure that no data is lost.
The system is built on top of existing open-source systems and technologies, such as:
Java
Tomcat Web Server
MySQL
Both systems listed below were all created using the Basic template. Other templates are available, along with extra modules.

The video shop system was developed for a video rental shop who requested a system that could track customers and rentals, along with extra functionality such as promotions, fines etc.
Various other features are also available, such as credit limits, addition of rental items and stock (refreshments, DVD players etc).

The property management system was developed for a leading property management company based in Dublin.
The requirement was to develop a system that could manage all properties, including owners, tenants and related stock sales. Included in this system was a goods received system to allow the customer to monitor the stock levels, and to generate relevant systems.
"ODPM used Dagda Solutions to design and implement a system for managing a large and diverse range of access control products which no out of the box solution was capable of providing. A short development timeframe coupled with a "can do" attitude meant that O'Dwyer Property Management seamlessly implemented the solution with little effort."
Barry James, ODPM
